We should have met years ago…

Growing up in Central Minnesota, wandering the mall in St. Cloud, skiing at Powder Ridge, or living just blocks apart in Uptown… Our paths should have crossed many times. Yet it wasn’t until August of 2017 our lives intersected.

Though attraction and chemistry were obvious, timing worked against us. Our paths crossed several more times over the years and though it was always a reminder of our connection, life’s complications always seemed to get in the way.

As years passed and lives changed, a familiar face reappeared online in 2024 under the official title of “someone you might know.” A simple reconnection quickly became something much more. Calm, certain, unmistakably right, and most importantly, no life complications standing in the way. We found not just love, but a partnership built on understanding, patience, and the shared realization that sometimes the best things in life really do come to those who wait.

These days, when not racing down the ski slopes, you’ll find us wandering the lakes with the pups, catching a ball game, or enjoying a festive game with family & friends.

A love of old world flair permeates many areas of our life; from morning coffee over jazz and exploring antique markets, to searching out swanky restaurants and speakeasies wherever we are. It feels only fitting we incorporate the timeless fun, glamour and vintage flair of the Great Gatsby era into our wedding celebration.

We’re so grateful our story led us here, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter together with everyone.
